geochat

Every place gets its own voice.

geochat ties message boards to real-world places. You can only read, post and vote when you're physically within a few dozen metres of a marker — reached via its QR code or from the map.

Open the map →

How it works

1. Find a marker — scan its QR in the world, or tap it on the map.
2. Your device confirms you're on-site (a location check).
3. Read the wall, leave a mark, vote, or open a thread.

The wall & threads

Each place has an open wall — a low-friction, anonymous space to leave a mark. Beyond it, anyone on-site can start threads, open or password-protected, for focused conversations.

Privacy

Posting is anonymous: a stable nickname per place, no account required. Your location is used only to verify you're there — it is not stored as a track. EU-hosted; export or erase your data anytime.

For businesses

Cafés, museums, events and venues can run on-site boards with opening hours, NFC anti-spoof, analytics, webhooks and an API.
